Believe in your own truths

There are very few unalterable universal truths in life. The rest are all subjective and temporal. In our culture, people often used folk idioms and proverbs in their daily speech. Growing up, I noted that many sayings had contradictory versions and was always amused when I heard one or the other asserted with the same confident tone, often by the same individual. Turns out there are very few unalterable universal truths in life. The rest are all subjective and temporal.

Note to self: Believe in your own truths.
