An old friend of mine recently commented on how I had become an open book, sharing with the world my deep thoughts and feelings, the joyful and the sad. Most of us often act as if life is a carnival and put on elaborate masks of eternal contentment. The reality is that under these masks, we are all valiant warriors, soldiering through life's daily battles and truces, the big and the small.
