A little over 6 months ago, I set out on a personal challenge, posting a photo a day for a year. The challenge soon grew into a photo and a thought, as for me images and thoughts are inseparable. Here I am at the half way mark. Yay!!! The experience has been so enriching and rewarding. Sure, there was the cherished opportunity for daily, albeit brief, creative moments on otherwise hectic days and long drives back and forth from work. But the experience had several unexpected bonuses: The liberating freedom to share my deeper inner thoughts and feelings, and as a result, connecting with like-minded people and making new friends. Indeed, challenges are opportunities in disguise. I still have a long way to complete my challenge. Will I be able to do so? Maybe, but as with other challenges in my life, I will take it on one day at a time. Thanks to those who shared comments and kudos. You made my personal creative journey all the more worthwhile!
