There is no better knowledge than knowing one's true self

"The time will come when, with elation, you will greet yourself arriving at your own door, in your own mirror, and each will smile back at the other's welcome... You will love again the stranger who was yourself...

Give back your heart to itself, to the stranger who has loved you all your life, whom you ignored for another, who knows you by heart." Derek Walcott

November 17, 2007. Inscribed on one of the walls of the Nagoya train station in Japan, of all places, were these memorable words... and they echoed, and they still do. How often do we ignore who we really are and get swept into currents that transform us into strangers to even ourselves. And how often do we not even realize that until we have lost some very precious time.

There is no better knowledge than that of one's true self. Know you then be you and not a shadow of it.

Only then can you really live fully.
