Find solace in my garden

Getting to know the whole community in my garden, the shrubs and the trees, the flowers and the bees, the birds, the squirrels, the black and green lizards. They look at me as if wondering why I suddenly notice them, why I'm spending so much time with them. They no longer run away the minute I appear. Are they as happy to see me as I am to see them in this lonely new world of mine? I now know which spots and hours are their favorites, which sounds and melodies are theirs. I even have nicknames for them. I wonder, do they have a nickname name for me?
