Life's ups and downs

Life's journey is like a workout up and down a set of stairs. Three steps up. Two down. Six up. One down. Two up. Three down. On and on and on again. Often exhausting, but if we stop and think about it, just as exercise strengthens the body, the ups and downs of life strengthen our soul. What finally matters is that we're still on the stairs, and regardless of what step we're on, we're still aiming up.
